The golf team opened its season with a 6 to 3 victory over Dartmouth at the Belmont Country Club yesterday afternoon.
Individual match winners for the Crimson stroke-makers were Tony McGowan, Jack Barr, Ed Peterson, and Ace Cordingly. Henry Thompson and Bob Sides dropped their matches, but Harvard won two out of the three best ball four-somes to complete its point total.
The Varsity will be host to the Brown University team this afternoon at 3 o'clock, while the Freshmen open their schedule against Andover one hour earlier.
