In softball games Kirkland massacred Leverett 36 to 5, while Dunster was edging out the Goldcoasters 16 to 13 in a batting battle that went to 11 innings. At one point in the tenth frame Funster hurler Roger Kinuicutt pitched 3 balls with no out on bases loaded, but his teammates pulled him through with two flies and a forced play.. In the fourth overtime bracket Dunster collected five runs, three more than Adams could produce in its half.
Kirkland beat Lowell 5 to 2 in tennis while Eliot trounced, Dudley. The former match was one of the season's closest.
