Charles Philip Hammond, of Kirkland House and Marblehead Mass., has been elected captain of the lacrosse team to succeed Thomas Baird Campion.
Hammond was a member of his Freshman soccer and lacrosse team and won numerals in both sports. He was been a member of the Varsity lacrosse team for the past two seasons.
Shirley S. Philbrick Jr. of Dunster House and Rye Beach, N. H., was appointed Varsity manager, for next season to succeed Bernard A. Helfat of Lawrence, Long Island, N. Y.
Hammond prepared at Phillips Academy, Andover, where he competed in soccer and lacrosse.
