$16,200 in Scholarships Distributed by Graduate School

Thirty-eight men have been awarded scholarships and fellowships for study during the coming academic year at the Graduate School of Engineering. Graduates who figured in the $16,200 awards won the following grants: William Hilton scholarship went to Hyman Chisik '37 of Chelsea; Charles Store Storrow scholarships to Charles T. Morrow '37 of Gloucester; and Philip N. Ross '38 of South Sudbury.

Gordon McKay fellowships tool E. H. Rydbeck of Goteborg, Sweden; and William M. Bauer G. E. S. of Cambridge.

Gordon McKay scholarships to Gustave Natapoff of New York; Alfred R. Holowenko '38 of Dorchester; Gorge H. Oshry '38 of Revere; and Oliver D. Sledge '37 of Austin, Texas.

British Win Fellowships

Three men from Great Britain and one from Australia have been awarded Commonwealth Fund Fellowships for study at Harvard University during the two academic years 1938-40, it was announced today. They are among 34 young men from the British Empire selected as Fellows for study in the United States.
