Possibility that Jersey City election tactics had crept into the balloting on the labor issue last week caused no end of worry to State Labor Board officials, it was learned yesterday.
It seemed that the yard cops not only guarded the polling places but stuffed the boxes with one extra vote when it came their turn to declare either for the inside union or none at all.
According to official tabulation, from 17 eligible voters 18 ballots were cast. Fifteen were for the inside union, two against, and the other was just kind of phoney.
