Big Green Defeats Varsity Lacrossemen 11-2 at Hanover

Hunsaker Ends Shutout by Two Goals In Final Quarter

Facing the Big Green on their home field the Varsity stickmen went down to defeat Saturday afternoon to the score of 11 to 2. Only Hunsaker's two tallies in the final period prevented the shutout which the Indians maintained from the first period.

Handicapped by the loss of Cleveland, Downey, Lewis and Livingston, who were unable to make the trip, the Crimson made a fairly good showing against what is considered the best lacrosse team in New England. Halstead, first attack for the Cantabrigians, was injured during the game.

The Crimson, League champions last year, have now lost two games in the intercollegiate league. They have only garnered one victory, against the Tufts stickmen, while the Now Hampshire aggregation defeated them 9 to 7 last Wednesday.
