Winning four of the six singles encounters, the Varsity tennis team was able to capture one doubles match and defeat the Dartmouth netmen 5 to 4 yesterday at Hanover.

Hubert Hauck, Dave Burt, Langdon Gilkey, and John Palfrey carried off victories over their Indian opponents, while Red Lowman and Alvah Sullo way went down to defeat.

The first Crimson doubles team was forced to default after taking the opening set in its match, but the second combination of Burt and Palfrey won the deciding point.
