Competition among the House crews for the Agassiz Cup begins this afternoon at 5 o'clock when the oarsmen of eight houses meet in two hears over the Henley distance on the Charles to determine the qualifiers for the finals on Thursday.
The first heat brings together the boats representing Eliot, Winthrop, Leverett, and Dudley, while the Kirkland, Lowell, Dunster, and Adams shells take to the water in the second heat at 5.30 o'clock.
Also tomorrow afternoon, Adams, Dunster, and Eliot House will enter boats in a competition for second crews in the first heat, and Kirkland, Leverett, Lowell, and Winthrop will bid for top honors in the second heat.
