"Every marriage should produce four children," declared Dr. Gunnar Myrdal, Professor of Economics from the University of Stockholm, in an address on "Remedial Means" for halting the population decline at the New Lecture Hall yesterday afternoon.

Despite his statements advocating birth increase, Dr. Myrdal explained that he favored the retention of the birth control movement to reduce the number of undesirables.
