Art Shaw, Claude Hopkins to Play for Freshman Jubilee

Committee to Have Continuous Music At Freshman Affair

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Two orchestras and special entertainment have been planned for the annual Freshman Jubilee on May 27, Leo Marx '41 of the Jubilee Committee announced yesterday.

Art Shaw's and Claude Hopkins' orchestras have been hired for the only formal Freshman dance in the college year. There will be continuous dancing from nine until three. The Jubilee Committee has not planned any intermissions, but for those couples that insist on dancing all evening there will be ample refreshments to cool them off.

There will be special entertainment by professional artists, but the Jubilee Committee has not definitely made up the program. Midnight supper will be served.
