President Eliot was "the second founder of the University,' stated Jorome D. Greene '96, Secretary of the Harvard Corporation, at the Wednesday meeting of the Memorial Society in Little Hall.

In elections for next year following the discussion, John L. Donnell '40 was chosen President and Templeton Smith '40 was named Vice-President, Donald MacD. D. Thurber '40 was elected Memorial Society Secretary, while Cranston E. Jones '40 and Alfred W. Putnam '41 will find positions as Treasurer and Archivist.
