RUGGERS TO MEET ST. ANDREWS ON SATURDAY

Crimson Team Underdog in Match with New Jersey Club; Whitney, Knapp Out with Injuries

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In their first match since the Cambridge University white-washing last month, the Crimson ruggers will tomorrow meet a favored St. Andrews Club on the enemy field in South Orange, New Jersey.

With a revamped lineup, partially due to injuries, the Harvard team will not be at top strength. Captain New Whitney with a bad shoulder and Pete Knapp with a charley horse will be greatly missed.

Four Men on All-Eastern

Four men, Miller and Fisher from the front line and Osgood and Kennedy in the backfield, last Saturday played on an All-Eastern team opposing the Cambridge aggregation in the Britons' farewell appearance.

After winning its opening engagement with the Pilgrim Club, St. Andrews lost to Long Island University and to Queens. The team is made up largely of former Princeton and Yale rugby players. Captain Campbell Groel, a Nassau graduate, was an outstanding member of the All-New York and All-Eastern squads that met Cambridge.

Harkness, Kidder Report

Two Crimson wrestlers have reported to the Harvard Club. John Harkness will start as forward tomorrow, while Henry Kidder will replace Kennedy in the backfield.

Against St. Andrews the starting forwards will be Miller, Clowes, Strong, Scott, Fisher, Harkness, Gephart, and Smith while the backfield includes Osgood, Profit, Desmond, Constable, Kidder, Watt, and Hadden.
