GREEN-EYED TIGERS DESIRE BAND EQUAL TO CRIMSON'S

As a result of the usual "excellent" performance of the Crimson "All-American" band, when the Princeton eleven was defeated by Harvard, 34 to 0, last November, a contest is being staged to get a new Tiger song.

W. A. G. LeBoutillier, a Princeton alumnus and chairman of the advisory council for the band, was so impressed by the superiorty of the Crimson contingent that he started a campaign "to bring the Tiger band up to the level of their football team."

Boasting of the only alto glockenspiel of college bands in the East, the Tiger band is going to be augmented by two Aida trumpets borrowed from the Metropolitan Opera House. Heralds with the proper ceremony will blow a triumphant fanfare with these trumpets before each Princeton game.
