Before a large crowd at the Commonwealth Armory Saturday night, Captain Skiddy von Stade led the Crimson polo team to a 13 to 5 victory over Yale.
Captain von Stade was the evening's leading scorer by a large margin, turning in a total of seven goals. Ben Forbes and Gaylord Dillingham, at number 1 and 2 positions respectively, divided the rest of the Crimson goals between them, scoring six apiece.
Although the superior playing of von Stade dominated the play, the Crimson horsemen had the edge in quicker turning ponies and were able to gain a 7 to 0 lead early in the game.
