Yale Intramural Champions Defeat Goldcoaster Quintet 24-22

Scoring the deciding goal with only two minutes to play, the Davenport College hoopmen, Yale intramural champions, defeated a stubborn Adams House five 24-22 yesterday afternoon at the Indoor Athletic Building.

Although trailing by a 22 to 14 score at the end of the third period, the Goldcoasters made a determined last period comeback, tying up the score at 22 all in the last three minutes of the game. Then with two minutes to go. Moody of Davenport, slipped in the final tally. Hubert Hauck, at center, was high scorer for Adams, with ten points to his credit.
