Two notices have recently been posted on the Bulletin of the Union, one reading, "Wanted a ride to Cleveland," and another, "Wanted a passenger to Cleveland," and they have remained there for the last two weeks.
Upon investigation, it was found that while the man who wished the ride boasted of being home from seven to nine o'clock, he was not, and the one who offered the ride could not be reached on the telephone number he gave.
