Cowles to Take Tentative Squad South For Vacation Practice; First Match With Navy, April 9

With the first breath of spring in the air Coach Harry Cowles is lining up his tennis charges for the Washington trip during vacation.

Red Lowman and Dave Burt, the latter unbeaten in intercollegiate competition, will fight it out for the number one berth. Captain Alvah Sulloway, who captained the squash team this fall, and Hubert Hauck are much improved this year according to Cowles. Langdon Gilkey and Chester Legg will complete the team as rated for the Southern trip, with John Palfrey as substitute.

The racquetmen will play a series of practice matches with teams in the Washington area in preparation for the first intercollegiate match with Navy at Annapolis on Saturday, April 9.
