Yale Fans Look for Repeat of Last Saturday's Rally in Series Final

"If they did it once they can do it again," is the opinion of Yale hockey fans concerning Thursday night's playoff with Harvard. Sophomore Paul Gillespie's three last period goals up at Boston Saturday night, which netted Yale its first win over the Crimson since 1935, have raised New Haven hockey fans to the heights of optimism concerning the imminent playoff and next year's season as well.

According to latest reports from the local Arena, Holcomb York will start the same lineup tonight which faced off against Harvard Saturday. Captain Clint Childs, one of the three seniors on the squad, has been out of commission with a dose of the mumps, but may be able to play in the last game of his Yale career.

Bud Humphrey centers the first line, flanked by Dud Humphrey and Dave Boles; the defense features John Gibson and Doc Howe with towering George Seabury and Clem Kite as spares. Harry Holt, another sensational sophomore, will try to duplicate his fine performance in the nets. The second line has Paul Gillespie at center and Fred Burr and Ed Toland on the wings. Dave Rodd, Bill Barnes and Cy Vance make up the third line.

The Yale fans and the hockey team itself are not the only ones who are confident about the outcome of the game.

Harold F. Woodcock, Business Manager of the Yale A. A. is overflowing with smiles as he contemplates a complete sell-out of all Arena seats--3500 seats at $2.20 a head isn't any crying matter either.
