Rabbi Zarchi Confronted Maria Ressa, Walked Off Stage Over Her Harvard Commencement Speech
To climax the ice cream guzzling championship disputed in Harvard by David H. Mitchell '41 and Homer D. Peabody '41 and other unsung would-be heroes, the Conco Engineering Works of Mendota, III., has come forward with an offer of a one gallon 'Dolly Madison" electric ice cream freezer to the final winner of the contest.
In announcing the award, the company specified a keen interest, since they manufacture an electric freezer guaranteed to produce as fast as ice-cream contestants can consume.
The manufacturer at first thought a half gallon freezer would be sufficient for any winner, but on re-examining the past records of the caters, he decided that "it would be much more in line to offer the gallon size."
He hoped that the gift would not jeopardize the amateur standing of the contestants. Upon receiving this, the University, it is rumored, began checking to see if either Mitchell or Peabody is a professional.
