Arguing the merits of the New Deal's policy of regulation of business, Crimson debaters will journey down the Charles to meet M.I.T. tonight at 8 o'clock at 2-190 Walker Memorial. The contest will be the first in two years between the universities.
Robert S. Clements '40, a transfer student from Tech who last year was a member of the Tech debating team, John R. Weston '38, and Henry D. Wyner '39, will defend the proposition, "Resolved, That the New Deal should continue its program of business regulation." A decision will be rendered by three judges.
Plans for radio debates with Brown and Williams during the next two weeks are being completed by the Debating Council.
