New England bats migrate as much as 200 miles. Such is the recent finding of the Scientific Society which has recently taken to banding bats as a co-operate venture.

The Scientific Society was founded last year, and is now led by an executive committee of Donald R. Griflin '38, Karl M. Guthe '39, Philip W. Morse '38, Doughlas H. Robinson '39, and Ralph I. Smith '38, and has a membership of 35.
