In a meet the result of which was in doubt up to the final event, Michigan beat Yale last night in New Haven 41 to 34. Before the 400 relay, the score was 34 all, but swimming anchor for the Wolverines, Tom Haynie beat Captain Maclonis of Yale by a yard to take the final seven points.
