Yardling cagers face their toughest battle to date when they meet Andover this afternoon at 4 o'clock on the Indoor Athletic Gymnasium floor. The Academy quintet was barely nosed out last week 34-31 by a strong Yale Freshman five.
Probable starters for the Yardlings are Don McSweeney and Lub Lubchansky, forwards, Homer Peabody, center, and Bob James and Fran Simpson, guards. James will have the job of holding down Pete Dudan, Andover high scorer, while Peabody tangles with veteran Dick Mayo.
The Freshmen have shown great improvement the last week, working against a zone defence, which Andover is expected to use.
