Fear reigned last night in Hanover that when the Dartmouth Carnival opens today, there will be no snow to welcome the zealous skiers. If no snow comes, it will be the first time in the history of the Carnival. According to weather predictions last night, the Big Green may still be saved by a local blizzard.
