Sir Richard Gregory, noted British author and astronomer, and editor of the scientific journal "Nature," is lecturing tonight at New Lecture Hall on the subject "Religion in Science."
Sir Richard is best known for his work with "Nature," which he has served for forty-five years as editor and assistant editor. Under his guidance it has become generally recognized as the best edited scientific magazine.
In his editorials he contends that science, the cause of industrial development and economic progress, should be used to guide the human race to a wise use of the powers which it has created.
His lecture, which is open to the public without charge, is being sponsored by the Sigma Xi Society, national honorary scientific organization.
