MOSCOW--Russian forces in bloody onslaughts at both ends of the 1,800-mile battleline were reported today to have driven the Germans out of several villages near Leningrad and "destroyed" three Rumanian-German units in the Black Sea coastal area.

A war communique said a Soviet guerrilla detachment almost entirely wiped out a Rumanian company on the Odessa front. It said the irregulars pounced on the Rumanians in a field, mowed them down in waves, and rushed in with bayonets to finish the job.
