PITTSFIELD AND BERKSHIRES--15 to 18 inches heavy powder. One tow running. All trails and slopes skiable. Thin crust as base.
New Hampshire
CARDIGAN 16 inches new powder. Good slope skiing. Some trails skiable when broken out.
EASTERN SLOPE REGION--From 10 inches new powder in North Conway to 16 inches in Pinkham Notch, slightly drifted. Open slopes generally good, but only smooth trails skiable.
FRANCONIA -- 12 inches powder at the Valley station. All trails in perfect condition, and the tramway is running.
GOFFSTOWN--8 inches light powder at Uncanoonue Mt.
LACONIA--Belknap Mountain Region--15 inches powder on open slopes with skiing good. 16 to 24 inches on trails, skiing fair.
MONADNOCK REGION -- 12 1/2 inches powder on 1 1/2 inches base. Skiing good.
PLYMOUTH -- 16 inches powder. Skiing excellent. Tow running.
Vermont
STOWE--Mt. Mansfield Region--4 inches powder at Smugglers' Notch, increasing to 12 inches at summit. Thin base on upper half of mountain. Good skiing on entire Toll Road, little or none elsewhere.
WOODSTOCK--13 inches new powder. Skiing good. Two town running.
