Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
"Yale will either win or lose by a big score," said David Colwell, coach of Harvard Freshman football and a member of Yale's team last year. In an interview in his room at Gallatin Hall yesterday noon he continued, "Yale will go out to win the game, and some of their passes may be boomerangs. Generally speaking, they are always out to shoot the works."
He admitted that it looks bad for Yale this Saturday but added that comparative scores mean little when Yale plays Harvard. He also mentioned the cohesion of the Harvard team: "Yale has started with a different lineup every time but will be playing a team which has played almost every game with the same men."
Speaking of the characteristics of the two teams, he said, "There is no bad blood. The going is plenty tough, but you don't seem to mind because there is good feeling all around. Generally there is close similarity between the men playing on both teams. They don't know when to quit; they fight till they drop."
His knowledge of the Harvard varsity was limited, because his work here with the Freshmen has left little opportunity to watch the varsity.
