Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
When the intercollege games at New Haven this Friday are over, the most successful House Football season at Harvard will have been finished, with over 245 men having participated in the sport this fall. From this army the CRIMSON has ventured to name a first and second All-House eleven.
Captain and quarterback of the first squad is Bob Prario of Eliot. On a last-place team, he has shone consistently as a ball-carrier and field general, his best game being against Dudley, when he made runs of 60 and 35 yards without interference.
At left end is Pote Wentworth, light, fast Deacon wing, who by his driving tactics has broken up interference monotonously, paving the way for the tackle. Bill Healy of Dudley and Paul Counihan, both rugged tackles, rate team posts because of their steady play.
At left guard is Sam Binnian, of Winthrop who with his running mate, Dave Grey of Kirkland, forms the outstanding pair of guards in a season notable for its abundance of good operatives in this position. Another guard, Bud Call of Lowell, is named captain of the second eleven. All-House last year, Call missed some games this year because of injuries.
At the center post in Line Cark of Lowell, who played every minute of every game in the schedule. His hard tackling helped greatly to give the Bellboys strength in the line as a line-backer while his passing was consistently accurate.
Although he played fullback on offense, Joe Koufman of Dudley rates the other end position. Fast and heavy, he performed capably on the defense and incidentally rattled off a 90-yard run against Eliot.
Dick Lewis, Lowell, and Willard Whitman, Adams, gained the halfback posts. Lewis a strong blocking back, was the tops in line-backing, his 180 pounds aiding materially to give him the stamina to play entire games. Whitman is the outstanding passer, his slants to Bob Akerson an Adams teammate, proving the vital factor in the defeat of Kirkland by the Coasters.
Dunster placed its lone representative in the person of Red Balley to round out the backfield in the fullback post. Bailey, besides being a driving line-bucker, is an excellent kicker. Thus the backfield presents a well-rounded array with a good blocker, an accurate passer, an elusive quarter, and a good linebucker and kicker.
