Harvard and Radcliffe Give Joint Open Concert Tonight

Woodworth and Holmes Will Conduct the Two Orchestras

The Radcliffe College Choral Society and Orchestra and the Harvard University Orchestra will give a concert, open to the public without charge, tonight at 8:30 o'clock, in the Harvard Music Building. Professor G. W. Woodworth and Malcolm H. Holmes will conduct this annual joint concert.

Marking the first appearance of these organizations this season, the concert has aroused considerable interest among music lovers for the wide range of works to be presented.

The program will be: Chorale, "Freu'dich sehr, O meine Seele," by Bach; Concerto Grosso in B minor, Handel; Canon, "Hallelujah, Amen," Norris; Madrigal, "On the Plains, fairy trains," Weelkes; "Das Voeglein," Dvorak; Velse Nobles, Schubert; Martinslied, Hindemith; Chorus from "A Midsummer Night's Dream," Mendelssohn; Overture to "Le Rival Confidant," Gretry; Scherzo, Beethoven; and two choruses from Secular Cantatas, Bach.
