Stage Designer, Sharpe, Donates Gift to Widener

A collection of original drawings, sketches, and scrapbooks of the late Robert Redington Sharpe, noted American stage designer, has been presented to the Theatre Collection of the University Library by Hugh C. Sharpe II, of Valley Falls, New York.

The gift includes five portfolios of original drawings, portraits and projects; five scrapbooks of clippings, programs, and photographs; many manuscript notes; and costume sketches.
