Meeting their strongest opposition of the season the undefeated Crimson booters were held to a 3 to 3 tie in their encounter with Tiger invaders last Saturday afternoon, while up at Andover the Yardlings were defeated by the score of 3 to 0.
Mendel again starred for the Crimson by scoring in the first and second periods. Captain Johansen corner-kicked to Lewis who scored the third goal during the heated fourth period.
Williams had an off-day in the goal, and the Crimson pass work was not as efficient as in previous games this season against such powerful opposition as Amherst and Dartmouth.
The line-up: Williams, g., Bradley, rfb., Hardenbergh, lfb., Phillips, rfb., Jacobson, chb., Edgar, lhb., Johansen, rhb., Harnden, ri., Page, c., Witkin, li., Mendel, lo. Substitutes: Scully, Rous maniere, Ives, Lewis, Willets.
