LAW STUDENTS OPPOSE USE OF NEW GYM BY VARSITY SQUASH

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Indignation in the Law School ever the new Hemenway Gymnasium, long seething under cover, broke out yesterday as plans were formed to circulate a petition by an angry group opposed to the use of the new structure by the Varsity squash team.

It has been reported that eight of the new squash courts are to be reserved for squad practice in the afternoon, which is virtually the only time any law student is ever seen outside either the Langdell or Austin library.

With the squash team having had excellent success while using the University courts in the past, and since many feel that the new Hemenway was built so that harrassed graduate students might follow Dr. Bock's advice on exercise, the angry lawyers feel they have an excellent case.
