Yardlings May Eat one Meal A Week in Houses, Dean Says

House dining hall privileges for Freshmen, a plan agreed to by the Masters several years ago, will be continued again this year beginning today, it was announced from the Dean's Office last night.

Yardlings who dine regularly at the Union will be allowed to take not more than one meal a week as the guest of an upperclassman in any one of the Houses, with the understanding that the meal will be charged against their account at the Union.

Exceptions

The privilege will not apply on the occasions of special House dinners, it was learned. If unexpected loads on any of the House dining halls occur too frequently, it may be necessary to require advance notice or else limit the number of guests at any one time.

According to the Dean's office it will be the responsibility of the host to know whether the Yarding has previously been a guest during the current week. Only the first meal in each calendar week will be charged to the Freshman's account at the Union.
