HANFORD WARNS ABOUT RIOTS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Following the events of the last few days, Dean Hanford last night issued the following warning to students:

"In view of recent incidents it seems desirable to call attention to a statement made by the Administrative Board last year to the effect that disturbances in the streets or in other public places as well as on university property become of great annoyance to the public and to the police and are likely to lead to serious consequences.

"The Administrative Board further explained the policy of the College by stating that a student who is guilty of an offense against law and order at the time of a disturbance or who disregards the instructions of a proctor or other university officer at such a time may have his connection with the College severed, and that the mere presence of a student in a disturbance may result in disciplinary action."
