Whether or not she knew it, when Snow White sang wistfully. "Some Day My Prince Will Come" she was just warbling a revised version if a robust old Yale song called "The Old Eli March" according to a suit filed recently in Federal Court by Thornton W. Allen Company, its publishers.

The complaint alleged that parts of the music were lifted unchanged from the Yale song, composed by Wadsworth Doster, Yale song, composed by Wadsworth Doster, Yale '09, The final stanza of this New Haven Marseillaise reads: "Here's to old Eli, Cheers to old Eli, Years through to old Eli. And for Yale, Yale, Yale, for Yale."
