Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
With a squad cut down to 25 men, Skip Stahley and his Yardling coaching staff are speeding preparations for the Andover game Saturday and have been working out under the newly installed floodlights at the field since Tuesday.
With practice moved up until 4 o'clock, Stahley has kept his diminished squad at work until 6 o'clock for the past two evening. The Andover team which the Crimson will play on the enemy field, has won two games, Northeastern Freshmen and Bowdoin Junior Varsity, while losing to Yale 19-6.
Both the regular guards are now engaged in stiff fights to retain their starting posts as the fast improving Dick Phister is close to displacing Endy Peabody and Don Wilson is threatening Dick Row's hold on the other guard post.
In the backfield, only one man has apparently clinched a starting berth. Ted Lyman, by his play last week again Worcester, is sure to face Andover at the blocking back. Henry Vander and Harry Tine are fighting for the bucking position, while Fred Spreyer, Fran Lee, George Dreher, and George Heiden are alternating at the other two backfield posts.
Parsons Pressing Ends
While George Kahn and Tom Johnson seemed permanent fixtures on the flank a week ago, Bill parsons is now very much in the fight for an end positives. And the fight continues between Julia Simmons and Tom Gardner at right tackle, as Vern Miller tightens his hold at left tackle.
Still out indefinitely with injuries, Reddy has been replaced by Chuck Ayres who is much improved at the post position. Also out with a bad leg, Tom O'Loughlin, who is expected able fairly soon to compete for a tackle berth.
