In a statement last night T. Dunstan Thompson '40, president of "The Harvard Monthly," denied a statement printed in yesterday's CRIMSON that the magazine was "defunct" and the bills sent to it were returned unopened.
Thompson announced that "The Monthly" was publishing on issue within a week and that the confusion about the bills oaome from the fact that it had moved from its former quarters at 9 Bow Street.
