Joe North, an editor of "The New Masses," who last night spoke on the same platform as Granville Hicks and Archibald MacLeish in an effort to raise money for the magazine, mentioned having seen several Harvard men fighting in Spain while he was in that country as correspondent for "The Daily Worker."
"They were all good fighters," he said. North also related that he had seen ambulances marked "From the Students and Faculty of Harvard."
