FOOD WORKERS SPORT UNION PINS IN STRENGTH DISPLAY

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Union buttons flashed for the first time on the uniforms of all dining hall workers who are members of American Federation of Labor.

Measuring up to the predictions of heads of Locals 186 and 112, the strength of the organization appeared to be about 80 percent among waitresses, 90 percent among cooks and kitchen workers.

Decision to flaunt union strength before all non-members of the unit was unanimously voted at a meeting last Wednesday.
