competition will give candidates an excellent and intimate knowledge of the workings of the University. Investigations are made and many perplexing problems in connection with University administration, and college questions in general are answered.
Further there is the opportunity for candidates to express themselves on all national, state, and local issues, and to write editorials supporting their own points of view and also editorials in furtherance of CRIMSON policy on national subjects. As book reviews, play and movie reviews, Vagabonds, and Crimes all come under the jurisdiction of the Editorial Board, anyone interested in these specialized subjects will have a chance to try his hand at them.
The Photographs Board takes from who have never had a camera in their hands before and trains them to become future Associated Press of Times Wide World material, ready for the Sino-Japanese war or similar assignments. Included in the competition is the training for the operation of candid cameras, and no subjects are barred.
Wednesday evening, October 6 is the date, 7:30 o'clock is the time, and 14 Plympton Street is the place for the first CRIMSON competition of the year 1937-38.
