Two new additions to Harvard Square architecture will soon be ready for undergraduates' use it was learned yesterday. Langrock's has announced the opening of its new branch shop at 24 Holyoke Street on September 28, and the Harvard Trust Company's remodeled house will be complete soon.
Langrock's new store, planned in the form of a Cape Cod cottage, was designed to meet the trend of University building which is moving toward the Charles. It is also announced that the personnel of the new branch will include men from the present main store near the University Theatre.
The Harvard Trust Company, now a few feet higher than its neighbor, the Coop, has taken out the two revolving doors which formerly held sway and has replaced them with one entrance. Also the have moved the banking counter from the center of the floor to the Northern side of the building. New fixtures have been installed.
