Among the selections for the 1937 All-American Lacrosse Team announced yesterday is John Witherspoon '38, captain and coverpoint of the Crimson team.

Witherspoon merited the honor by his outstanding performance of the season. Especially notable was his spirited playing against Yale on May 22 when he was largely responsible for holding the team together under the Eli attack.

The team which in the eyes of the judges consists of the best players in the country will play an exhibition game with the Crescent Athletic Club in Randall Island Stadium; New York, Wednesday evening, and will sail for England Friday for a series of international matches.
