Students in English 4A and all others wishing to attend will have the opportunity of hearing Miss Dorothy Speare, novelist and author of the moving picture "One Night of Love" this afternoon at 2 o'clock in Sever 11.
This will be the second lecture within the past week that Frank W.C. Hersey '99, instructor in English has opened to the public. Martyn Green of the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company was guest lecturer last week.
Miss Speare, who has spent three years in Hollywood writing for the movies, was enthusiastically received when she lectured here last year. She has chosen "Discovering Aristotle in Hollywood" as the unique title for today's talk, in which she will designate the literary principles that must be employed by the successful cinema author.
