Selections by Bach and Handel occupy prominent places in two musical events this week, one a concert by the Bach Cantata Club at the Germanic Museum at 8:30 o'clock tonight and the other a violin recital given by Arthur Steinberg '38 at 7:45 o'clock Friday at the Music Building.
The Cantata Program tonight, directed by Mrs. Langdon Warner and assisted by E. Power Biggs, organist, will include Handel's "Concerto No. 2 in B flat", two Bach numbers and one by Mozart.
Steinberg, a graduate of Boston Latin School, and who studied violin at the New England Conservatory of Music 1932 to 1934, will be accompanied by Leonard Bernstein '39 at the plane.
