Harvard Still On Track To Reach Fossil Fuel-Neutral Status by 2026, Sustainability Report Finds
Rocky and steep is the path that the Harvard baseball team will have to travel if they are to reach the pinnacle in the Eastern intercollegiate League.
Very little is in their favor and at present the schedule of games seems to offer an almost insurmountable obstacle. Three league encounters in two day, Penn on Friday afternoon in Philadelphia and a double feature on Saturday with Columbia in the morning the Princeton in the afternoon, will almost surely lay the Mitchellmen low.
Yale and Dartmouth are on the other hand, through with the toughest part of their circuit, games, except for their dealings with the Crimson. Here again Harvard will have plenty of difficulties for it engages Dartmouth in a double-header, and the prospect is extremely unlikely that it can nab both ends.
In spite of rejuvenated play last Saturday it looks right now that the Mitchell hands will do well to take two out of three over the weekend and split even with both Yale and Dartmouth. With such a setup Dartmouth is definitely favored to grab the flag while Yale and Harvard are a tossup for second. Games this Week Friday Harvard at Penn Saturday Cornell at Dartmouth (2); Harvard at Columbia (morning); Harvard at Princeton (afternoon).
