After holding Yale to 6-4 in the singles at New Haven Saturday afternoon, the Varsity Tennis team dropped four out of five doubles in the first defeat by the Blue during the past eleven years. The Yale match ended the racquetmen's season with four defeats and seven victories.

In the feature match of the day Richard M. dorson '37 upset Stephens, reputedly among the three best intercollegiate singles players in the East, by the score of 6-0, 6-0. Anderson Page '37 was the only double winner, winning both tenth singles and, paired with Alvah W. Sulloway '38, fourth doubles. Captain James J. Fuld '37 and Hubert H. Hauck '38 also won their matches.

Sweeping the first five singles, the Freshmen Tennis Team defeated Yale 7 to 2 at Divinity Courts Saturday afternoon to complete a season marred only by a close defeat at the hands of the Harvard Graduates. The only victories of the Blue Yearlings were in the number six singles and the number three doubles.
