According to an announcement made last night by Kendric N. Marshall '21, instructor in Government, two undergraduates, Jack D. Andrews '39, of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Malcolm R. Wilkey '40, of Madisonville, Kentucky, have been named as Harvard scholars to Lingnan University for 1937-1938.

Lingnan, at which Marshall taught for three years, is situated in Canton, China. There are now 31 American students there including four from Harvard.

A scholarship plan, put into effect two years ago, has aided in opening the university up for Americans. On returning after three years in the Orient, Harvard men are allowed to resume study in their respective classes, receiving credit for the work done abroad at Lingnan University towards their degrees.
