News from the Houses

With the Winthrop House team journeying to Braintree to play Thayer Academy, and three other games scheduled, House Football officially opens its season today. Eliot House will meet Leverett, Adams will face Lowell, and Kirkland House will play the Ramblers, in the other opening encounters today.

Captains of the various teams were chosen yesterday. They are as follows: W. T. Piper '32, Adams House; D. R. Fallon '33, Lowell House; L. A. McCabe '34, Winthrop House; E. P. Parker '34, Kirkland House; H. R. Withington '35, Dunster House; J. T. Dennison '34, Eliot House; S. C. Dorman '33, Leverett House; and L. Mann '35, Ramblers.

The schedule of games for the season is as follows: Friday, October 7:--Leverett vs. Eliot, Adams vs. Lowell, Winthrop vs. Thayer Academy, and Kirkland vs. The Ramblers; Monday, October 10:--Kirkland vs. Dunster, and Eliot vs. Winthrop; Thursday, October 13:--Dunster vs. Adams, and The Ramblers vs. Winthrop; Friday, October 14:--Eliot vs. Lowell, and Kirkland vs. Leverett; Monday, October 17:--Adams vs. Winthrop, and Lowell vs. Leverett; Tuesday, October 18:--Eliot vs. Dunster, and Kirkland vs. The Ramblers; Wednesday, October 19:--Lowell vs. Winthrop, and Leverett vs. Andover Seconds (at Andover); Thursday, October 20:--Adams vs. Eliot, and The Ramblers vs. Freshman Seconds; Friday, October 21:--Lowell vs. Kirkland, and Winthrop vs. Dunster; Wednesday, October 26:--Kirkland vs. Eliot, Leverett vs. Dunster, and Adams vs. Belmont Hill (at Belmont); Friday, October 28:--Kirkland vs. Adams, and Lowell vs. Dunster; Monday, October 31:--Winthrop vs. Kirkland, and Leverett vs. Adams; Wednesday, November 2:--Winthrop vs. Leverett; Thursday, November 10:--Harvard House Champions vs. Yale Class Champions.
