FORMER DEAN HASKINS, 67, DIES AT CAMBRIDGE HOME

Charles Homer Haskins, Henry Charles Lea Professor of Medieval History, emeritus, died at his Cambridge home yesterday afternoon in his sixty-seventh year.

Professor Haskins, who joined the Faculty in 1900, retired from active teaching six years ago. From of 1908 to 1924 he had been dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

He held honorary degrees from universities here and abroad; he was chief of the Division of Western Europe, American Commission to negotiate peace, 1918-19; he was an officer of the French Legion d' Honneur.
